How it works
Connect. Play. Get coached.
Setting up takes a few minutes. After that, every ranked match you play turns into a coaching report without you lifting a finger.
-
Connect your account
Sign up and link your Steam account and match history, then add your FACEIT account if you play there. Coach downloads new matches on its own from then on.
-
Play Counter-Strike
Queue up like you normally would. Coach only looks at the match once it is over, so it is never in the game and never in your way.
-
Open your coaching report
See the few things worth fixing first, why they matter, and how to practise them. Then watch the exact rounds back in the 2D viewer.
Every part of your game
Coach pulls apart every tick of the match and grades the things that decide rounds: the buys, the utility, the aim, the movement, and the teamwork.
-
Economy
First-round buys, save or force decisions, kevlar, kits, and drops. Looking at you, AWP-on-a-save-round guy.
12 assessments -
Grenades
Smokes that land, flashes that blind enemies and not teammates, and damage from HE grenades and molotovs.
8 assessments -
Shooting
Headshots, first-shot accuracy, spray length, recoil resets, stopping before you shoot, and shooting teammates.
6 assessments -
Teamwork
Trade kills, the trade opportunities you missed, whether your team traded your deaths, and throwing utility together.
4 assessments -
Movement
Counter-strafing, which way you move before an engagement, and how quickly you leave spawn.
3 assessments -
Other mistakes
The habits that do not fit a category yet. Coach is always learning to spot new ones.

Why not a stats site?
Numbers tell you what. Coach tells you why.
Plenty of websites calculate Counter-Strike statistics. We set out in 2018 to build something different: an automated coach that reviews your play the way a human coach would.
| Stats websites | PureSkill.gg Coach | |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | Every metric where you were slightly below average | A short, prioritized list of what to fix first |

| Next step | Figure it out on your own | Curated videos, guides, and drills for that exact mistake |
| Who built it | Hard to say | Three physicists who play CS. Say hi in Discord. |
